Politicians Won<\/h3>\n

Modi gets to look like a composed global statesman.
\nSharif gets to not look like a puppet (okay, at least pretend he\u2019s holding the strings).
\nBoth sides get to do their TV interviews with deep frowns and “peace is important” soundbites.
\nAnd behind closed doors? High-fives all around. Less war, more elections.<\/p>\n

Armies Won<\/h3>\n

No bullets = no casualties = no funerals = no angry families.
\nAlso: no fatigue, no ammo wastage, and no awkward questions from international media.
\nThey\u2019ll quietly go back to \u201cwar games\u201d and \u201cstrategic preparedness drills\u201d like it\u2019s a school play.Not
\nhing boosts budgets like almost-war.<\/p>\n

Citizens Won<\/h3>\n

Fewer bombs, more chai.
