As a founder, I meet a lot of people.<\/span><\/p>\n

Founders, funders, suit-clad speakers, TED talkers, unicorn chasers, even the occasional philosopher in a Patagonia fleece.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some walk in with energy.<\/span>
\n<\/span> Some walk in with ego.<\/span>
\n<\/span> And a few\u2026 walk in like they\u2019re God\u2019s gift to Earth.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s be honest\u00a0 some of them probably are half way there.<\/strong><\/span>
\n<\/span> Brilliant minds. Sharp as knives. Backed by books, exits, degrees, or just the divine talent of figuring stuff out. They can do things I simply can\u2019t\u00a0 and I respect that. Immensely.<\/span><\/p>\n

But here\u2019s the truth:<\/span>
\n<\/span> I\u2019ve never once felt small in their presence.<\/strong>
\n<\/span> Not even a flicker of intimidation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because I\u2019m not trying to be them.<\/span>
\n<\/span> I\u2019m just too busy being me \u2014 and that\u2019s a full-time gig.<\/span><\/p>\n

See, I know what I bring to the table.<\/span>
\n<\/span> They can\u2019t do what I do either.<\/strong>
\n<\/span> They don\u2019t carry my scars, my wins, my weird wiring.<\/span>
\n<\/span> They don\u2019t know how I survive chaos, dance with broken systems, or lead through pure madness with a smile and a sledgehammer.<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s the real flex in the battle of ego vs self-awareness knowing your chaos is your craft.<\/b><\/p>\n

This is the essence of a <\/span>founder mindset<\/span><\/i>: owning your lane, flaws and all.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019re just different breeds of beasts. <\/strong>
\n<\/span> And I\u2019m okay not being the smartest in the room as long as I\u2019m the one who gets sht done*.<\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, I\u2019d much rather hang out with the brilliant jerk who knows he’s brilliant than the clueless overconfident who thinks he\u2019s a genius because he has 5,000 LinkedIn likes on a Canva post about hustle<\/span><\/p>\n

Overrated confidence is more dangerous than earned ego.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the tricky edge between confidence vs arrogance \u2014 and too many fall on the wrong side.<\/b><\/p>\n

At least the egotists have done something.<\/span><\/p>\n

The problem is, too many confuse noise for knowledge \u2014 classic ego vs self-awareness mismatch.<\/b><\/p>\n

The fake \u201csmart ones\u201d?<\/span>
\n<\/span> They\u2019re just loud. And in the way.<\/span><\/p>\n

So here\u2019s my filter:<\/span>
\n<\/span> You don\u2019t need to impress me.<\/strong>
\n<\/span> But don\u2019t pretend to be someone you\u2019re not.<\/span>
\n<\/span> Because I\u2019m not competing.<\/span>
\n<\/span> I\u2019m building.<\/span><\/p>\n

And I respect those who know their power, own their craft, and don\u2019t waste time posturing.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s not about being loud \u2014 it\u2019s about being real. Ego vs self-awareness. Every single time.<\/b><\/p>\n

That\u2019s <\/span>authentic leadership<\/span><\/i> to me.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019re all in our own lanes \u2014 I\u2019m just too busy flooring it in mine.<\/span>
\n<\/span> No intimidation. No inferiority. No worship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just mutual respect\u2026 or silent judgment.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Because when you truly understand <\/span>self-worth in leadership<\/span><\/i>, you stop needing to perform.<\/span><\/p>\n
