\n<\/span> Moral police are celebrating. Aunties are sighing with relief. Twitter is suddenly full of virtue.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Let\u2019s cut the crap.<\/b><\/h2>\n

If this is the bar for soft porn, half of Bollywood needs to be buried under FIRs. You ever seen a \u201890s Govinda song? Or an item number that randomly breaks out mid-tragedy? The real question isn\u2019t whether content is \u201cindecent\u201d\u2026 the question is who decides decency? This whole wave of <\/span>OTT censorship in India<\/b> suddenly feels like a moral crusade rather than reform.<\/span><\/p>\n

Indian cinema has been selling innuendo as culture for decades. From slow-mo raindrops on midriffs to horny comic relief characters, we\u2019ve made sexual tension a genre.<\/span>
\n<\/span> So why target smaller OTT platforms? Because they\u2019re easy. They don\u2019t have PR machines. The recent <\/span>OTT platform ban in India<\/b> looks less like protecting viewers and more like flexing control.<\/span><\/p>\n

But let\u2019s be honest\u2014our population crisis wasn\u2019t caused by Ullu. And no one can deny that the <\/span>Ullu ALTT ban controversy<\/b> is sparking bigger questions about creative freedom and who draws the line.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yes, content needs age labels.<\/span>
\n<\/span>Yes, moderation is important.<\/span>
\n<\/span>But bans? That\u2019s not reform. That\u2019s cowardice wearing Sanskaar as a mask. This kind of <\/span>Indian OTT content regulation<\/b> feels like someone is pressing mute on a whole segment of creators instead of giving them proper guidelines.<\/span><\/p>\n

KG\u2019s view:<\/b><\/h3>\n

\u00a0Let the user choose.<\/span>
\n<\/span> Give them warnings, give them context, give them power.<\/span>
\n<\/span> Don\u2019t snatch their remote like they\u2019re toddlers with iPads.<\/span>
