\n<\/span> Another panel discussion.<\/span>
\n<\/span> Another outrage.<\/span>
\n<\/span> And tomorrow\u2026 nothing.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ll scroll to the next meme, the next cricket score, the next \u201cIndia is shining\u201d propaganda.<\/span><\/p>\n

But here\u2019s the truth nobody wants to hear:<\/span>
\n<\/span> This isn\u2019t just one murder. This is the <\/span>systematic murder of equality in Indian homes<\/b> \u2013 happening daily. Not always of the body. Often of dignity, of freedom, of choice.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Big Scam Called Marriage<\/b><\/h2>\n

Society sells us marriage as this holy grail \u2013 stability, love, companionship.<\/span>
\n<\/span> Reality check? It\u2019s an antiquated contract written centuries ago when <\/span>women were treated as property<\/b> and men as landlords.<\/span><\/p>\n

And shocker \u2013 the terms haven\u2019t really changed:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • A girl is raised as an equal till her wedding day.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Post-wedding? Boom! Her \u201cequality license\u201d gets revoked.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Parents, relatives, the caste panchayat, the WhatsApp uncles \u2013 everyone but her decides who she marries.<\/span>From that day onwards, she doesn\u2019t live life. She serves a sentence<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Superwoman Syndrome (a.k.a. Institutional Slavery)<\/b><\/h2>\n

    Doesn\u2019t matter if she\u2019s an engineer, CEO, or astronaut \u2013 she\u2019s still crowned <\/span>Chief Caregiver<\/b> at home.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Works a full-time job? Great.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Still must cook.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Must raise kids.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Must manage in-laws.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Must run the household circus.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Meanwhile, the man gets praised for babysitting once in six months or heating food in the microwave. \u201cWow, such a supportive husband!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

    And the irony? Parents who raise their daughters like queens often treat their daughters-in-law like maids.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> In fact, <\/span>women themselves enforce patriarchy<\/b>.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Bahu vs Beti<\/span><\/i> = the oldest soap opera in India.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Equality Outside is Instagrammable. Equality Inside is Taboo.<\/b><\/h2>\n

    We scream #NariShakti in offices, parliaments, schools.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> But at home? The woman who \u201csacrifices it all\u201d is worshipped as Devi.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> The woman who says \u201cNo, I won\u2019t do it all\u201d is labelled selfish, difficult, or \u201cbad wife.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

    No wonder homes turn into <\/span>silent crime scenes<\/b>.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Sometimes the crime is murder. Sometimes abuse. Most times, it\u2019s quiet suffocation.<\/span><\/p>\n

    KG\u2019s Unpopular Opinion<\/b><\/h2>\n

    Marriage as an institution is <\/span>broken<\/b>. Period.<\/span><\/p>\n

    It was designed for survival in a world without freedom, technology, or individuality.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> In 2025, we still pretend it\u2019s sacred while using it as a license for control, abuse, and slavery.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Why should love need a contract?<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Why should companionship need a legal stamp?<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Why should anyone \u2013 man or woman \u2013 need to sign up for a lifetime subscription of servitude?<\/span><\/p>\n

    Marriage is not love. Marriage is compliance.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Marriage is not companionship. Marriage is compromise.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Marriage is not sacred. Marriage is outdated.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The Real Revolution<\/b><\/h2>\n

    Stop glorifying sacrifice.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Start demanding <\/span>equality at home<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    If you can clap for a woman CEO, clap harder when she says, \u201cI won\u2019t cook tonight, you do it.\u201d<\/span>
    \n<\/span> If you can post hashtags about women\u2019s safety, start making homes safe \u2013 emotionally, physically, mentally.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> If you can celebrate women\u2019s empowerment in offices, stop making them servants in their own bedrooms.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Because until equality enters the house, nothing changes.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Not your feminism hashtags.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Not your \u201cBeti Bachao\u201d billboards.<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Not your outrage panels.
    \n<\/span>And until then\u2026<\/span>
    \n<\/span> Every time the news reads \u201cWoman murdered by husband and in-laws\u201d \u2013 don\u2019t act shocked.<\/span>
