\n<\/span> IQ scores, boardroom titles, paychecks, followers \u2014 we worship digits as if they are the final proof of success. But here\u2019s a bitter pill: Einstein never even took an IQ test. Yet his ideas changed the course of humanity.<\/span><\/p>\n

So the real question isn\u2019t how high your IQ is.<\/span>
\n<\/span> It\u2019s what you are doing with it. And that\u2019s where the debate of <\/span>IQ vs success<\/b> comes in. Because no matter how high your score is, the meaning of life isn\u2019t in digits, but in what you create with them.<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s exactly where I take you in Episode 5 of Truth Shots with Kapil, where I sit down with Kishore Asthana \u2014 President of Mensa Project Dhruv, former Tata leader, author, poet, and philosopher of consciousness. From Boardrooms to Street Corners<\/b><\/h2>\n

Kishore has lived multiple lives.<\/span>
\n<\/span> He\u2019s been a gold medalist engineer from NIT Durgapur, an Air India Scholar at IIM Ahmedabad, a Group Vice Chairman working next to royalty in Oman, and today, the man behind Mensa Project Dhruv, mentoring over 300 gifted but underprivileged children in India.<\/span><\/p>\n

On paper, his r\u00e9sum\u00e9 reads like a corporate fantasy. But the moments that changed him weren\u2019t about boardrooms or royalty. They were about street corners.<\/span><\/p>\n

One boy in Project Dhruv raised his hand during a test and asked: \u201cSir, I live on the street. What address should I write?\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span> Another couldn\u2019t study because his family couldn\u2019t pay the electricity bill.<\/span><\/p>\n

These aren\u2019t statistics. They\u2019re human realities. And they\u2019re the reason Kishore chose to use his brilliance for something bigger than himself. The Mirage of Respect<\/b><\/h2>\n

At one point in his life, Kishore sat at the top of the corporate pyramid in Oman. He was literally at the table with royalty. And yet, one offhand remark from a powerful figure cut him down to size. It reminded him that respect abroad is borrowed, not earned.<\/span><\/p>\n

That moment became a turning point. Because respect that is conditional, that disappears the moment you leave the room, is not respect at all. Kishore realized that dignity is something you should grow old with \u2014 and for him, that meant coming home to India.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because what keeps us trapped isn\u2019t always fate \u2014 it\u2019s the choices we keep making.<\/span><\/p>\n

And that\u2019s another layer of <\/span>purpose beyond numbers<\/b> \u2014 your worth is not decided by digits in your bank account or IQ score, but by the conscious decisions you make daily.<\/span><\/p>\n

My Contract with God<\/b><\/h2>\n

Another truth I put on the table: I live by a \u201ccontract with God.\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span> The terms are simple: You don\u2019t mess with my life, I don\u2019t mess with You.<\/span><\/p>\n

It sounds like a joke, but it isn\u2019t. It\u2019s a way of living consciously, by your own rules, so you don\u2019t have to rely on miracles or interventions. Most people live in chaos and then pray for rescue. I\u2019d rather create order and keep the rescue team unemployed.<\/span><\/p>\n

This mindset ties back to the theme of <\/span>IQ vs success<\/b> \u2014 intelligence gives you tools, but success comes from how you choose to live.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meditation Without the Circus<\/b><\/h2>\n

Kishore and I also cut through the nonsense around meditation. Candles, gurus, rituals \u2014 we\u2019ve turned it into a performance. But meditation, as Kishore puts it, is brutally simple: sit, breathe, focus. That\u2019s it.<\/span><\/p>\n

No Instagrammable setup. No props. Just awareness. And in today\u2019s chaos, maybe simplicity is the hardest \u2014 and most radical \u2014 practice of all.<\/span><\/p>\n

React Less. Respond More.<\/b><\/h2>\n

One of my favorite exchanges in this episode came when we both agreed on stress. Most of us react too fast. Stress pushes us into overdrive. But wisdom makes you pause.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kishore\u2019s advice was simple: when you\u2019re stressed, drink some water, breathe, and then decide.<\/span>
\n<\/span> And if you still want to bang your head against the wall? Fine \u2014 but do it consciously. Because even head-banging should be a choice, not a reflex.<\/span><\/p>\n

And that\u2019s another lesson in <\/span>IQ vs success<\/b> \u2014 it\u2019s not about how fast or reactive you are, it\u2019s about how consciously you respond.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why This Conversation Matters<\/b><\/h2>\n

Most importantly, it\u2019s about how a man who has lived many \u201csuccessful\u201d lives chose to spend this chapter mentoring children who might never have had a chance otherwise.<\/span><\/p>\n
