On 29th September 2025, our Google Ads account hacked incident began \u2014 our Google MCC account, a 17-year-old account with a spotless history, was hacked.
\nA stranger replaced our official business emails with an unknown Gmail ID and took full control of the account.<\/p>\n
They ran ads worth crores. They escalated spends fast.
\nThis was not a small glitch \u2014 this was a full-scale Google Ads security breach inside our MCC.<\/p>\n
We reported the breach to Google immediately, repeatedly, through every support channel available.
\nBut Google Ads customer support did nothing.<\/p>\n
Instead, the hacker continued spending.
\nGoogle increased the credit limit.
\nThe damage multiplied.<\/p>\n
And then came the final blow:
\nGoogle suspended our account for exceeding the credit limit \u2014 the same credit limit the hacker drained while Google ignored every escalation.
\nAn unfair Google Ads suspension caused by a hacker.<\/p>\n
This is not just a technical failure.
\nThis is a human failure \u2014 and the emotional, financial and reputational impact is real.<\/p>\n
* The stress on the team
\n* The halted campaigns
\n* The loss of trust from clients
\n* The mental burnout from chasing support that never arrived
\n* The emotional trauma of being punished for a crime you didn\u2019t commit<\/p>\n
After 17 years of partnership, this is not the treatment any business expects from Google Ads, especially when dealing with Google account compromise at this scale.<\/p>\n
We have now issued a legal notice to Google India, demanding:
\n* A full investigation
\n* Restoration of our account
\n* Accountability for the inaction
\n* Compensation for operational and reputational damages<\/p>\n
We\u2019re speaking out publicly because this is bigger than OMLogic.
\nIf this can happen to us \u2014 a seasoned agency that has spent crores over the years with Google \u2014 it can happen to anyone.<\/p>\n
Digital ad fraud is real.
\nPlatform accountability cannot be optional.
\nBusinesses should not be left helpless when systems fail.<\/p>\n
