Time to Serve the Alma-Mater

February 13, 2016 0

When you’re young all you want to do is grow up. When you grow up into successful adults, all that you want to do is go back to the roots and relive your childhood. I have been a part of the best of educational institutions in India and abroad, acquainted with stellar professors but my alma-mater DAV School, Shalimar Bagh shall always be the one I would want to revisit.

#ModiInDAV

Living away from my native land in USA always brought memories of my beautiful childhood in the playgrounds, classrooms, and canteen from DAV School. DAV laid the wreath for success and excellence, carving inch by inch of me, thereby making me a better person. I am so proud to be associated with one of the finest schools across the globe.

As the CEO of OMLogic, I have always taken keen interest in activities related to educational sector in India, so when we were given the opportunity to work for DAV Society, we couldn’t contain our excitement.  40 Lac alumni, 20 Lac student, 800 campuses, 130 year old tradition, 60K teachers – Being a student of the very same institution, I had no clue about its larger than life size back then. It’s a power demonstrated by the fact that PM Narendra Modi would be coming to unveil DAV’s new vision (Nayi Disha, Naya Sankalp) at a large gathering at JLN stadium on 14th February 2016.

We’re trying to spread the word far & wide about Nayi Disha, Naya Sankalp, the largest gathering of DAV Alumni, teachers, students and other influencers.   This event shall go down as the ‘Largest Gathering of DAV Alumni’ in the history of DAV Society.

We’ll be live feeding on Twitter during the event for those who cannot make it. Looking forward to meet teachers and fellow alumni at Nayi Disha, Naya Sankalp.

Follow DAV Society on Facebook & Twitter for regular updates.
