The Storms Are Coming… And Nature Isn’t Knocking

The Storms Are Coming… And Nature Isn’t Knocking

Have you stepped out in Delhi recently?
Or Lahore? Or anywhere between the two?

️ Dust storms.
⚡ Lightning strikes.
️ Unseasonal rain.
Crops destroyed.
Flights cancelled.
Hoardings flying like kites.

It’s not just weather. It’s a warning.
A slap.
From Nature.
And trust me, it’s just getting warmed up.

When Nature Strikes Back

We built cities like concrete monsters.
We chased growth like it was a religion.
We cut trees, blocked rivers, scraped hills and called it “development.”

Now nature is pissed.
And it doesn’t care for climate conferences or carbon credits.

It’s revolting.
Not because it wants to—but because it must.
Balance will be restored.
And humans aren’t capable of doing it.

KG’s Take: We’ll Never Create Balance. Nature Will.

Let’s be brutally honest:
Humanity is a virus with a PR team.

We talk sustainability in boardrooms, then chop forests for parking lots.
We do beach cleanups while dumping sewage into the sea.
We hashtag #ClimateAction but want air-conditioning 24×7 and doorstep delivery in 10 minutes.

Balance? Hah.
We wouldn’t know balance if it hit us like a falling tree in Lutyens Delhi.

But nature knows.
And it will bring balance.
Through floods. Storms. Quakes.
Whatever it takes.
The Great Flood is not mythology. It’s a pattern. A reset button.
And every storm is nature’s finger inching toward it.

Look Around. The World’s Weather Is On Crack.

  • UAE saw record rainfall.
  • China battled heatwaves and floods… in the same week.
  • The US has wildfires on one coast and blizzards on the other.
  • Europe’s rivers are drying.
  • Africa is choking on dust and drought.

This isn’t random. This is systemic.

The Earth is tired of our BS. And it’s letting us know.

What Needs To Be Done? Simple. But Not Easy.

We need to stop pretending the planet will fix itself while we sip green tea and watch documentaries.

We need:
✅ Simple, enforceable environmental laws.
✅ Real carbon caps, not offset games.
✅ Green architecture that doesn’t just win awards but actually cools cities.
✅ Water harvesting, tree planting, local farming.
✅ Common. Bloody. Sense.

But none of that will happen.

Why?

Because policies aren’t made for the planet.
They’re made for the powerful to stay in power.

And climate change is just another tool in that arsenal.

Final Word: Prepare. Don’t Just Pray.

This isn’t about doomsday fear.
This is about waking the hell up.

Nature isn’t waiting.
It’s acting.
Delhi’s storms are just the prelude.
The main act might just be the flood. Or the quake. Or the inferno.

We can either get serious and get ready.
Or get swept away.

KG’s betting on the latter.
