Trump, the Courts & the Constitution — For Once, They Got It Right

Trump, the Courts & the Constitution — For Once, They Got It Right

June 28, 2025 0

Trump just won a major Supreme Court ruling — one that stops lower courts from blocking his policies nationwide. Now, they can only rule within their own jurisdiction.
Cue the usual outrage. But hold up…
This isn’t a “Trump win.” This is a win for Trump and the Constitution.

Stay in Your Lane, Judge

This ruling isn’t about politics. It’s about structure.
Nationwide injunctions from random district courts? That’s not how the system’s supposed to work.
You want to block a federal policy nationwide? Take it to the Supreme Court. Lower courts are meant to rule locally — not moonlight as national legislators.
And the Court just reminded everyone: know your limits.
Trump and the Constitution are in the spotlight again — not because the Court bent the rules, but because it followed them.

State Laws Aren’t a Bug. They’re the Design.

America’s always been a patchwork of state-specific rights:
• Cannabis: Legal in California, banned in Idaho.
• Abortion, liquor, guns, voting, education? All state-flavored.
India’s the same — beef in one state, banned in another. Liquor in Goa, prohibition in Gujarat. Car expiry in Delhi, no one cares in UP.
Uniformity isn’t freedom. It’s centralised control. And we’re not built for that.

This Isn’t Conservatism. It’s Constitutionalism.

The court didn’t bend right. It stood upright.
It didn’t pre-judge issues like birthright citizenship — because those cases haven’t reached it yet.
That’s restraint. That’s how the system works when it’s not busy tearing itself apart.
Some saw this as Trump court ruling 2025, but really, it’s a constitutional checkpoint — a rare moment when Trump and the Constitution weren’t at odds but aligned.

And About Birthright Citizenship…

Let’s call it. Some people are scamming the system.
From Gujjus landing in the US for “tourist” babies and free bypasses…
To Bangladeshi kids in India getting Aadhaar + BPL benefits faster than you get an OTP…
Fixing loopholes isn’t xenophobia. It’s hygiene.
Yes, people are scared. Yes, it may get messy. But that doesn’t mean we don’t clean up.
Everything can be misused. Doesn’t mean you don’t build it.
This case wasn’t just Trump vs federal courts — it was the system holding up the mirror to itself.

Bottom Line?

The Court didn’t swing right.
It stood firm.
It didn’t follow Trump. It followed the rulebook.
And in today’s chaos-hungry climate, that’s not just rare — that’s revolutionary.
Even if it benefits a man in a red tie.
Call it what you want, but sometimes, Trump legal win explained more about the strength of the institutions than the man himself.

PS: I love how every losing party calls courts rogue. Universally!
